Paid Social Media Specialist

We are seeking an energetic, motivated and savvy Paid Social Media Specialist to provide paid social media strategy and tactical support for multiple Client accounts. Our Paid Social Media Specialists are responsible for managing, executing, and optimizing paid social media plans while at the same time being able to think big picture and make our client’s dollars work harder. Specifically, responsibilities include:

  • Development of paid social media strategies that perform in tandem with an integrated media and overall advertising strategy, as well as hands-on campaign execution
  • Analyzing campaign performance, identifying strategic opportunities, and facilitating change to ultimately meet and exceed client KPIs
  • Managing relationships with vendor partners and keeping internal teams up to date on developments in the paid social media space, pushing the agency to stay ahead of the changing social media environment
  • Identifying opportunities to build better paid social media plans and processes
  • Working with other agency team members to integrate social media campaign reporting with other reporting outputs, helping to develop data visualization and presentation

Ideal Candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and prior experience in a paid social media role, ideally having managed campaigns with annual budgets totaling $1MM+. Additional requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience planning and managing strategic paid social campaigns across social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, SnapChat, YouTube, etc.) and content marketing platforms; knowledge and experience using Facebook Ads Manager and Twitter Ads Manager preferred
  • Proficiency in end-to-end campaign set-up, management, optimization, and performance reporting methods across social media platforms
  • Ability to interpret, compile, summarize and communicate learnings, striving to continuously improve the ROI of a client’s budget
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint combined with strong written and communication skills, including experience presenting to Clients
  • Passion for digital media and a drive to continue to learn more and keep up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in social media
  • Ability to work well independently and collaborate effectively with media and client services teams while prioritizing tasks and competing Client demands
  • Self-motivated, high energy, assertive, take charge personality (no wall flowers, please!)
  • Desire and ability to go above and beyond (which entails thinking and working beyond 9 to 5)
