What You Need to Know Before Applying:

Location

TBC’s internships are currently available both virtually or in-person. Please let us know your availability in your cover letter. TBC’s office is located in the Brewer’s Hill neighborhood of Canton in Baltimore:

  • 3601 O’Donnell Street | Suite 100 – The Barrel Building | Baltimore, MD 21224.
  • Free parking is available on site.
  • If you’re using public transportation, the CityLink NAVY bus stop is closest (right next to our office) – it’s the O’Donnell St & Dean St stop.

Compensation

TBC’s internships are unpaid but, we believe, offer invaluable real-world experience and a taste of what it’s like to work at an agency.

Schedule

Our standard internships are three days a week, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., but we can be flexible! Minimum hours required are one day a week for 6 hours. Our typical annual opportunities are:

  • Spring: January – May
  • Summer: May – August
  • Fall: September – December

If you are interested in an internship that does not fall under any of the above timeframes, please let us know, and we may be able to accommodate you.

Age/Education Requirements

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. You do not need to be enrolled in or plan to attend a four-year university program. We welcome applicants who are still considering their options for trade school, community college, university, certification programs, and more! If your internship is associated with an academic institution, be sure to speak with us about the requirements for your program so we can help you earn the proper credits.
